I am for a vibrant but limited & environmentally responsible County Airport that puts residents’ needs first. I want to see our government representatives advocating aggressively for community and environmental interests and ensuring that airport policy prioritizes public health and safety, the reservoir and environment, and our quality of life. Every operational decision at the airport deserves careful public consideration of its short and long-term impacts on airport capacity and the environment. I do not seek to close or cripple the airport, but residents impacted by worsening noise and air pollution must get relief as a matter of public health. The County should involve this Coalition early and often in airport policy making and planning. Count me as a Coalition Supporter and keep me informed via your newsletter and alerts.
